HHPG is selective with what we will publish. We do not accept every manuscript submitted. We believe that the company you keep is instrumental to your success. When you join the HHPG family, you are in good company. You can be assured that with HHPG, your book will be in the company of other professionally presented, well-written and illustrated manuscripts.

It’s As Simple As 1, 2, 3

1. The manuscript submitted must be your own original work. If the manuscript is not yours, you must show written proof that you have the rights to publish it.

2. If your manuscript has illustrations, please make sure that you have proper written permission to use the illustrations in your book.

3. You must be willing to invest in a professional editor and marketing.

Core Acceptable Levels

We specialize in publishing children’s books, family literature, poetry & short stories, educational books, how-to books, hobby books, religion & history. With special permission, we may consider a book outside this grouping. We will not publish books that contain profanity or slander, of the sexual content, or show prejudice or extreme violence of any type.

The Review Process

Please allow 4 – 6 weeks for the review process. If your manuscript is accepted, we will send you a letter with submission instructions. Once your completed manuscript, payment and Indemnity Release Form are received, we will send you your HHPG, New Author Kit. You will now be on your way to becoming a “published author”.

Please understand that due to volume, we cannot accept every manuscript sent to us. If we do not accept your manuscript, don’t stop with us, there are several other very good self-publishers available.
